Strawberry milk is definitely a childhood favorite. There’s nothing like a cold glass of milk mixed with the sweet flavors of strawberries.
Having a cold glass in the summer makes for a great day, especially when served with cookies!
When you buy it at the store, chances are you are consuming a lot more sugar and flavor additives than if you make it yourself.
This recipe mixes milk of your choice along with a homemade fruit syrup that’s made from real strawberries that’s easy to make.
It’s the perfect option if you’re looking to increase the number of clean ingredients in your diet and it’s great for kids!
Cold Milk – You can use any milk of your choice to mix with strawberry syrup including cow’s milk and dairy-free milk such as coconut, or almond.
Strawberry Syrup – A homemade strawberry syrup recipe is included if you don’t want to use store-bought. To make it from scratch, you only need strawberries (fresh or frozen), water, sugar and optional vanilla.

Wondering how to make strawberry milk from scratch? It’s sooo easy. Whip up the syrup in a few minutes, then keep it in the fridge and have homemade strawberry milk for weeks!
Make the strawberry syrup: To make the syrup, simmer strawberries, water, sugar, and vanilla for 10 minutes. Place a fine-mesh sieve over a bowl and pour in the mixture. Press the strawberries to extract as much syrup as possible. Allow the strawberry syrup to cool completely.
Assemble the strawberry milk: Grab a glass of cold milk.
Stir cooled strawberry milk syrup into the milk until dissolved. Taste and add more syrup if desired, or dilute with more milk. Keep in the fridge until ready to serve.
Enjoy your strawberry milk as a refreshing drink or after school snack.
Serve alongside a Mango Shake.
